Before I moved in, I spent an obscene amount of cash on a whole stock of cleaning products as I figured I'd have some scrubbing to do before I could set all my pretty things down.
It was money well spent though as I opted for eco-friendly Method products which have not only lasted me for months, but make my home smell wonderfully and spring and sparkly too (the almond wood cleaner smells like cake - enough said).
Anyway, latest addition to my housekeeper box of chemical free tricks is Isabelle Smith's Apothecary Maison Belle range (I found it in John Lewis); in particular this pamplemousse sink scrub is zingy, comes in gorgeous packaging (who knew a bleach substitute could look so good) and smells fabulous - and of course, just as importantly, has cleaned away all of those persistent grubby little water stains. Here's to sparkling sinks!
