Another press email, announcing that The Modern House agency in London has got a new interior design team on board - doing rooms like the one above which was featured in Elle Decoration. Now I'm not usually for hardcore contemporary room sets, I like perhaps a slightly softer style, but this picture (maybe the grey and yellow) really sums up a sophistication I admire. I have been flicking through the rest of The Modern House website and seen they've got some striking houses and styles. Here are a few that caught my eye.

Our best friends painted a feature exterior wall on the back wall of their house overlooking the terrace the same raspberry colour as your last image. The house is a big Edwardian villa, so this was a brave & bold thing to do but it looks amazing!
