I have recently become obsessed with checking out my "visitor maps" with Google Analytics, and for one reason or the other I'm getting more visitors from California than anywhere else. This delights me to no end. Why? Because I am a Brit, and I am US-obsessed; with everything from American teen-dramas (should I be embarrassed?); prom-dresses (yes, US readers, in England, we can only but imagine the delights of prom ); to New York New York brownstones and yellow cabs. I am aware that these stereotypes are not applicable to the entire US of A, but California loves my blog, and for that reason, I love you back!
So it seems appropriate to share my other new obsession (of which I have many):
Cali-based Little Oranges stationery. Now again, I may be behind here as I gather from their website they have plenty of outlets in the States, but here in UK sadly letterpress and gorgeous, gorgeous stationery is lacking (with the exception of course of Tea For Joy's Papermash which happily stocks Simple Song) so I'm thrilled at finding another set of pretty paper-stuff to drool over and they also have a cute blog. I wish I could have a stationery shop too *sigh*.
I am loving the simple fresh colours (particularly the lime green that keeps popping up) and the happy messages and the customised gift sets and tags. It's so subtle and unfussy. Spreading the love of the Golden State indeed!
