Help! My bathroom wall is boring

Ok people, honest opinions please. How do we feel about this now everywhere Keep Calm and Carry On Print? I ask because I have a gaping gap on my bathroom wall and am in need of inspiration. My bathroom is white, with a tiny tiled mint green and slate grey border breaking up the white tiles. So this print, in mint green might work. But then again.... would it? Is it not boring now? I know it would make me laugh if I brushed my teeth to this every morning.

So help: what do you think? And does anyone know of any other online galleries, in the vein of the Keep Calm Gallery/ Bold and Noble, where I might get some more inspiration?

Don't do it! Those Keep Calm prints are everywhere, I suppose the message itself is a good one but they're so ubiquitous...

I saw some nice text/message-based prints at wwww.generalpattern.net recently

Huma,
go here to look at this poster! it is one of my favorites and I love the raspberry reddish colour, which I think would look pretty with the mint green.

Hmm, not a fan of that particular made by girl print, it reminds me of being in a teenage girl's bedroom! I'm thinking something grey-shadey might work too though......

I'm a bit bored of being told to keep calm and carry on, stylish though it is, so I'd probably say no to that. I was mightily taken with some US Motto prints that I posted about earlier - maybe too American, though? Here's the gallery anyhow:

Good luck with your quest!

Yep they are definitely everywhere and I must admit that it stops me getting one. But this mint green one is lovely, so I could be a little bit tempted.

I reckon go for it! It's popular for a reason, and that mint green colour makes it more interesting. There are some great prints at Rockett St George and also at

I've got the Russian Dolls 'It's What Inside that Counts' print from the Keep Calm Gallery, and they do that in grey too...

Mmm a tricky one... I have two keep calm posters from about 3 years ago (one from keep calm gallery when they were students and one that's a copy of the original) and I must admit seeing them everywhere has taken the shine off them quite a bit. In fact, I would have replaced them with something else by now but the other half really likes the green from kcg so it got a stay of execution!

However, if you think it would make you smile while brushing your teeth in the morning that sounds like a very good reason to get it!

Look up Freya Art on Etsy... I love her stuff. I also have a category on my blog called 'for your walls' as I do post on a lot of prints so might be something in there that suits your fancy?

P.S. Posted on your birds... :)

I say put it up in the bathroom, you like it, it makes you smile, it's a great colour and who cares if it's everywhere. I Put up what ever i want on my walls despite the fact millions of others may or may not have the same. How many people actually get to visit your bathroom anyway! no one will know it's there :)
