Hot colours on a houseboat

Just come across this slideshow of the houseboat of Josie Curran (behind the books of Organized Fun) on the Times and the colours put a smile on my face. Despite my very real desire to one-day live in a calm and chic grown-up place like Alek at From the Right Bank I can't help but be drawn to limes and girly pinks like this.

Alek recently did a post on the split-personality of us interior obessives - her point was sometimes she wants to be minimalist, sometimes she craves clutter. I know the feeling - one minute wanting contemporary, the next vintage; one minute wanting muted shades, the next going hyper. Well, this is one of those moments for me - I'm gearing up to tone things down and then I go and see something all bright like this. Tellingly, perhaps, I do like this look, but don't necessarily LOVE this look, which means maybe I am getting more focused in the styles I aspire to after all.

Anyways - enough introspection - I've chosen these pics because I like Josie's pick of rugs (particularly the one in the bedroom) and wall prints - see if you can sneak a peek of the "Kiss her it might be your last chance" print in the lounge (which I suspect will get very popular now that it is also available at Rockett St George) and how apt is that Silence print in the bedroom (from Kiss Her, obviously the original home of the aforementioned Kiss her print!)

Then I clicked on to the Kiss Her site to see their prints (I am as ever thrilled to find anywhere that does fantastic original prints) and this one stood out for me - a timely reminder!

Yes, I totally agree with you and Alek, it's so difficult to settle on a style and not want to experiment and move on. I find blogs are very helpful with developing focus: I take them more seriously than magazines (which are only trying to sell me things) and am more open to their suggestions of new effects, but more realistic about what'll be merely transient for me.

Oooo. I like this house boat.

Lately I find I'm liking rooms that are primarily neutral but have a few bright spots of gypsy/bohemian color.

The effect can last up to four hours, so taking Viagra online the day that you would like to have sex will ensure that cheap Viagra can work effectively for you. Don't worry that it will because you to have an erection before you are ready for one - Buy Cialis works in conjunction with sexual stimulation.
