Not so boring bathroom wall?

OK, first off thanks for all your help on the bathroom-wall dilemma below. I have spent the weekend furiously window/computer-screen shopping for something that will fit the space and liven up the old powder room. And here are my final three(drum roll, please):

Ignore the Rain by Studio Mela
I am a little worried this is a bit too small, but hey ho she has it in large too anyway. Love the colours, love the message; what better way to start the day!
S’only $20 and she ships internationally. And I think (if I’ve measured correctly) it will fit the wall space slot by my mirror. Hence making the photo flash appropriate. Cute but sophisticated, I like the grey print (smooth) and it feels like a slightly more “grown up” choice than the one above. In fact, I think this could be The One For The Bathroom…

But then I’m also drawn to the fun eye charts at good old KC Gallery – I can just imagine house guests trying to figure this out and then it dawns on them what it says when washing their hands in that “Oh! (So-obvious-but-still-it-took-me-ten-mins-to-read)” kinda way. And the whole “seeing” thing, next to the mirror (see what I could do there? clever, clever..)
And plus it’s only £16. But then it doesn’t add much colour in black and white. But then again, it’s black and white – classy. Timeless too – this could move house with me one day. This could be it… Oh the pros and cons that life throws one’s way, hey…
So… it’s a toss up between “Smile” and the Eye Chart print now, really, as much as the Studio Mela one is cute, it just feels a teeny tiny bit too dorm-room. (I do not mean this in a bad way incidentally). Which do you like? Would love to know your thoughts..!

I think the eye chart one is more sophisticated, but I still can't see what's on the bottom line!
I really really love these prints:

especially the la la love you. There are so many lovely ones. xxxx

  2. I vote for the eye chart – it looks classic and classy!

Yep, it's definitely the eye chart for me too – next on my order list!

  4. mmmm… I can see your dilemma! I like them both too… although I like the smile one i think because I love old cameras, plus I spent many a childhood day in the opticians trying to read those blooming wall charts (I usually tried to cheat!) You may not have those bad memories though! ;)

  5. eye chart! I love the black and white. It will make your mint green stand out, with it's softness and the print is a bit more classic. The smile art would be great in the entry way as you leave the house, reminding you to smile:)
