From as a long as I can remember, I've never been able to walk down a road without being distracted by trying to look through windows to see how other people have done up their homes. It's not that I'm not nosey (honest), it's just that I love interiors, not just for their style, but for what they say about people too. I regularly write about design and style for the newspapers, but I also write about lots and lots of other random stuff too. You can see my professional work here but this blog is mostly just for fun.

... I have this exact same chair in my bedroom, even in the same colour! I always remember it being around, it has been in my family for years and is actually quite comfortable, although a little delicate. I love it to bits, I suppose it's like a part of the family itself, just one of the older members!

I've long been a chair addict so I loved your article. I love all the chairs you mentioned. I have the Jacobsens in my dining room. Have you seen the 1000 Chairs book? As I have that one, I wonder if I need to add the Fifty Chairs to my library?
