Wallpaper that’s just like art

I recently did a piece on 2011 interior design trends for The Independent which you can vaguely see above and read in full here. One of the trends that emerged was or rather is our ongoing love affair with wallpaper – only I’ve got my eye on something a little more detailed than just some floral flock feature wall.

Vanessa Barneby is an ex-Vogue editor who co-runs wallpaper design company Barneby Gates. I spoke to her for the piece, and she talked about the flamboyancy for prints that we’re embracing more than ever for our walls. Their designs are handpainted, making them real art creations. You can read what Vanessa said in my feature, but in the meantime, here are some truly lovely photos that she sent over to me of BG designs. Enjoy.

Athough Diana was too young to realize the difference, she still had many chances later. She would chose to leave when the marrige disappeared. But she didn’t want to over it. She still wanted to continue the title of “little black dresses” even the world knew they had no more feelings.

  3. Really impressed! Everything is very open and very clear..Thanks..
